We’ve got a couple firsts here at the “Artist of the Day” feature: multiple artists and use of a white board! Ellen Westbrock sent us the above pic right before the Thanksgiving holiday:
The Westbrock cousins, Ellie, Bing, and Maya from San Rafael, CA and Jack and Ben from Atlanta, GA got together for Thanksgiving 2009 in California. Uncle Jim was inspired by Ed Emberly as a kid and passed his love of the Make A World book on to his boys Jack and Ben. The book made the trip to Cali and the cousins spent hours creating their WORLD on paper. Eventually their creativity spread to the white board and their HUGE WORLD was created!
Thanks for the submission, Ellen (and Ellie, Bing, Maya, Jack and Ben).
We hope your action-packed white board inspires others to get together and “make a world” this holiday season.
If you want to be eligible for the coveted “MAWF Artist of the Day” post,
send in your “Make a World”-inspired drawings, photos, sketches or doodles to info@makeaworldfilm.com as soon as that ink/toner/paint dries.
